  • upload stolen or unauthorised content;
  • mislead public users;
  • send spam or abusive messages;
  • attempt to hack, damage, or overload the website;
  • introduce malware, viruses, scripts, bots, or harmful code;
  • bypass security controls;
  • scrape or harvest data without permission;
  • copy the platform database;
  • misuse dealer or public user personal information;
  • interfere with payment systems;
  • abuse subscriptions or listing limits;
  • use third-party login details without authority;
  • upload offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful content;
  • damage the reputation of VehicleDealerships.co.za; or
  • breach any applicable law or website policy.

4. Scraping and Automated Access

You may not scrape, copy, harvest, crawl, extract, reproduce, or reuse website data, dealer data, vehicle listings, photos, contact details, pricing, or platform content without written permission from VehicleDealerships.co.za.

Automated access, bots, crawlers, scripts, bulk downloads, or data extraction tools are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing.

5. Security

You may not attempt to test, bypass, weaken, or interfere with website security without written permission.

6. Dealer Conduct

Dealers must act honestly and professionally when using the platform.

Dealers must not:

  • misrepresent vehicle information;
  • advertise stock they do not have authority to sell;
  • abuse public user information;
  • ignore repeated complaints;
  • upload misleading images;
  • duplicate listings to manipulate visibility;
  • misuse third-party credentials;
  • use the platform to redirect users to fraudulent offers; or
  • behave in a way that damages trust in the platform.

7. Enforcement

If this policy is breached, VehicleDealerships.co.za may:

  • remove content;
  • suspend listings;
  • restrict account access;
  • suspend or terminate subscriptions;
  • block users;
  • report unlawful activity;
  • preserve evidence;
  • take legal action; and/or
  • recover losses, costs, or damages where allowed by law.

8. No Refund for Breach

If a dealer account is suspended or terminated because of breach, abuse, fraud, non-payment, or unlawful activity, the dealer will not be entitled to a refund unless required by law.
